About ISC
Niigata University International Exchange Support Center(ISC) always tries to contribute not only to innovative research but also to the improvement of the quality of student's life in Niigata. The work which ISC has been engaged in sometimes extends the boundary of the University. In other words, ISC helps to link the global community and local communities of Niigata. Niigata University has various departments representing extensive academic disciplines from literature to information technology(IT). And all departments have graduate schools (Master's and Doctor's).
Niigata University is located on the coast of the Sea of Japan two hours away from the capital Tokyo.
ISC was established on 1 April 2004 reinforcing the capacities of the International Student Center (former ISC) with more comprehensive and central role to promote and support the international collaboration, cooperation and exchange at various levels and departments of Niigata University.
